Hello, I would like to welcome you to Olivet Congregational Church Independent of Bridgman, Michigan USA. As you read about us at this exciting time in our history, I hope you share our understandings and beliefs in our Lord Jesus Christ. Our goal is to help others grow in grace while growing ourselves. Let me inform you about Olivet Church.
We are a debt free, autonomous governed congregation and do emphasize what the Bible teaches to stay free of indebtedness. As we fully function by faith when it comes to financial obligations in our church operations.
We have been in existence now for three centuries of free autonomous church government. It is a special blessing of God in that Olivet Congregational Church Independent is successful in not becoming entangled in a church bureaucratic jungle, as so many other churches have become. John Wesley said, "Heaven's first law is order."
We truly praise God for a free and independent church congregation such as ours and we pray for you to plan and become associated with us as a Christian group worshiping the Lord together. After reading our statement of faith, I hope you will become part of our worshiping family and together we can grow in Christ for God's glory.
