Occupation: Student

     At the age of 4 I came to know Christ as my Saviour.  I was outside of our home with my brother and he told me that I needed to get saved if I wanted to go to heaven.  I had been told what hell was like and I knew that I didn't want to go there.  I went to my mother and told her that I wanted to be saved.  She got out her Bible and showed me that "all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."  She then showed me that "the wages of sin is death," but that Jesus died on the cross to pay for my sin.  "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."  She showed me that all I had to do was ask Jesus to forgive me and to come into my heart. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."  I was not sure how to go about doing this, so she led me in a prayer.  I have found the Bible to be true that "there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother."  Jesus "will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
